The following is a sample of a letter to send to as many Legislators as possible. Please be sure to substitute the name of your child or information that pertains to you when you see a name or a word in parenthesis. Forward letters to both the local legislative office and the Tallahassee offices, if possible. It is a good idea to include any personal testimonial on progress your child has made after receiving therapeutic intervention or any denials of coverage you have experienced. Currently, we are concentrating on recruiting co-sponsors to sign onto the Bill. As we proceed through the legislative session, I will include more sample letters pertaining to specific issues or to combat any resistance. You will be asked to solicit letters on behalf of your child, from friends, neighbors, grandparents, relatives and professionals working with your children. Please click here
